Empowering the next generation of biotech founders in the Los Angeles area.
Nucleate Los Angeles is part of a national non-profit empowering the next generation of biotech leaders. Our chapter is led and run by students and trainees from USC, UCLA, Caltech, KGI, UCI, and Cedars-Sinai who organize and operate our programming alongside a network of industry partners across the LA biotech system. Our flagship Activator program connects founders with the mentors, capital, and resources to turn academic research into real biotech ventures, equity-free, helping turn the region’s deep scientific talent into its next generation of founders through a series of workshops, panels, and networking opportunities. Our student leadership also benefits directly, gaining hands-on experience in operations, partnerships, and company evaluation while opening their own eyes to the breadth of career paths the biotech ecosystem has to offer.
