While regional disparities exist, Italy offers immense potential – especially by fostering collaboration between the dynamic ecosystems of the North and the emerging innovation hubs in the South. Nucleate Italy was founded in 2022 with the mission to empower the next generation of biotech entrepreneurs by bridging academic and industry worlds across the entire country. With a diverse and expanding team of student volunteer leaders from both Northern and Southern Italy, Nucleate Italy supports the national biotech landscape through community-building, educational events, and venture support initiatives. Recognized for its commitment to inclusivity and impact, Nucleate Italy proudly transitioned to Associate Chapter status in 2025 and is excited to continue shaping a more connected and innovative biotech future for the country.
