Immersive: BioHacks

Program Details

BioHacks are a platform designed to foster community and build connections between computational experts and experimental scientists. There are numerous challenges in the life sciences that could be automated, improved, or solved through computational approaches and algorithms. BioHacks provide a collaborative environment to explore these opportunities, offering a playground for testing such collaborations and enabling newcomers to learn about the key problems in the life sciences.

01 RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Participants must apply to individual regional BioHacks and wait for official confirmation of acceptance from the BioHack leadership team.

02 KICK-OFF

The event begins with an in-person networking session, designed to facilitate team formation, introduce industry partners, and present the problem statements.

03 INNOVATION

Participants work on group projects, with a focus on rapid innovation and iteration. Mentors and experts are available throughout to provide guidance and support.

04 FINAL SHOWCASE

Teams will showcase their project to industry partners, followed by a closing award ceremony and celebration with networking opportunities.
